About this activity

A typical plan begins with a private camel trek at sunset to a comfortable camp in Erg Chebbi, where you stay in a private tent — often with an en-suite bathroom at higher-category camps (to be confirmed). Dinner can be served at a private, lantern-lit table, followed by stargazing.

The next day might include sunrise from the dunes, a slow breakfast, then a choice of gentle activities: a desert picnic, a visit to Khamlia, a spa-style hammam at your hotel where available, or simply relaxing. A second night lets you enjoy the desert at a calmer pace. Everything is arranged on request and adjusted to your preferences.

Extras such as decorations, flowers, a cake or a private musician are subject to availability. Alcohol is not assumed — ask us in advance. The package can also be part of a longer Morocco itinerary; we’ll build realistic travel days to and from Merzouga, which is a long drive from Marrakech or Fes.

Camel rides are not recommended during pregnancy or for people with back problems — a 4x4 transfer can be arranged instead. Bring sun protection by day and warm layers at night. Avoid the midday heat in warmer months.
