ITINERARY OF 6 DAYS FROM MARRAKECH

1st day: Marrakech - High Atlas mountains - Telouat Kasbah - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - Ouarzazate

The early morning pick-up from the airport or your Marrakech lodging marks the beginning of the six-day Morocco desert tour. Afterwards take a drive across the spectacular Tizi-N-Tichka pass and High Atlas highlands. There will be pauses for panoramic views of the magnificent vistas. Next we go to Telouat’s Kasbah.

We next move on to Ait Ben Haddou’s renowned Kasbah. a town with defences designated by UNESCO as a World Historic Site. The Kasbah has also been featured in a number of films, such as Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, etc. as well as TV shows like Game of Thrones. Afterwards we head to “The gate of the desert” Ouarzazate. Dinner and a hotel stay the following day.

2nd day: Ouarzazate - Skoura (Kasbah Amridil) - Rose valley - Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga Sahara - overnight in a luxury camp

Following breakfast, we tour Ourzazate’s Taourirt Kasbah and the Atlas Studio, where a number of well-known films were filmed. Afterwards take a trip to Skoura’s Amridil Kasbah, which is encircled by palm groves. proceed to Rose Valley after that. Every year in May, the community holds a rose festival when they sell anything related to roses, including perfumes, rose water, oil, and cosmetics. 3rd day: Explore Merzouga region - Nomads - Khamlia - Merzouga lake - Erg Chebbi - palm grove

In order to see the stunning sunrise in the middle of the desert, you must get up early in the morning. Availability for breakfast. After that, you do Camel riding in Merzouga dunes, where the driver is waiting. We set aside the day to investigate the Merzouga region. There are so many amazing places in the area, including sand dunes, a wild lake, mines, fossil locations, and magnificent oasis. which are perfect locations for a wide range of outdoor activities.

In Merzouga, we begin our tour by travelling off-road to a former eyeliner mine. Then, while inside their custom-made woven tent, we pay the nomads a visit. By sipping a cup of Berber tea, discover their way of life. Our next stop is the village of Khamlia, where you may take in performances of Gnaoua dancing and music. The majority of its residents are from sub-Saharan nations including Mali, Sudan, and Niger. Lunch on your own in a restaurant. We then go through a grove of palm trees. Then travel a short distance to witness Merzouga’s wild lake, also known as Flamingo Lake. the meal and the night in an inn.

4th day: Merzouga Dunes - Erfoud - Midelt - cedars forest - Ifrane – Fes

After breakfast, we depart towards Rissani town, the former seat of Tafilalet, before returning to the desert. A sizable souk in Rissani, which is still a significant trading hub in the area, is active on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. After taking a stroll through the souk in Rissani, we travel to Erfoud to visit one of the factories that produce petrified marble.

Following that, we halt for a panoramic view of the Ziz valley as we travel along the Ziz River. Lunch time is unrestricted in Midelt. The Barbary Macaques dwell in the cedar forest, which is where we next go. While exploring the forest, feel free to give them food. Afterwards we travel to Ifrane, sometimes referred to as the Switzerland of Morocco due to its alpine-style homes, snowy landscape, and low temperatures. Lastly, we deliver you to your Fes lodging.

5th day: Guided tour sightseeing Fes

After breakfast, we pick you up from your lodging in Fes so you can explore the city. The city is also the political, social, and cultural hub of Morocco. It is regarded as one of the imperial cities.

We go to the Royal Palace gate to begin the day. Then there is the UNESCO-designated World Heritage Site of the well-preserved mediaeval Medina. The gateway to the old Medina is known as the Blue Gate or Bab Boujloud. A native guide will accompany you as you enter the Medina. to see the Quaraouin mosque and university, the oldest university in the world, the Najjarine fountain, the Tanneries, and the Medrasa Bouanania. After that, we depart from the Medina and visit “the Mellah,” the Jewish neighbourhood. The Medina and the city of Fes are then seen from atop a historic citadel, where we next travel. and then go back to your riad.

6th day: Transfer to the airport

Before dropping you off at the airport, we pick you up for a brief tour of the city of Fes after breakfast. The Morocco desert adventure comes to an end from Marrakech.
