8 DAYS TOUR FROM FES ITINERARY

DAY 1: FULL DAY TO VISIT FES.

We will collect you up and begin your 8-day Morocco itinerary after breakfast in your riad. With a local guide, you’ll first tour Fes, the oldest city in Morocco and one of the four imperial towns. The majority of the day will be spent exploring the medina, or ancient quarter, of Fes. Visit the Royal Palace entrance, which is distinguished by its golden entrance and where the oldest extant university, Al Quaraouyine, is located. We will tour the well-known tanneries and the Jewish neighborhood after lunch in a traditional Moroccan restaurant in the medina, and then we’ll head back to your riad. Stay the night at your riad.

DAY 2: FES - VISIT CHEFCHAOUEN.

We will travel to Chefchaouen via the city of Ouazzan after brunch in your Riad. Explore Chefchaouen, also known as the “blue city” or the “blue pearl of Chefchaouen,” after arriving around noon. Due to its white and blue painted walls, this city is a fantastic location for photographers. We’ll take a stroll through the medina to admire the stunning structures in this city. Sleep in your motel tonight.

DAY 3: CHEFCHAOUEN - CASABLANCA - MARRAKECH.

After a hearty breakfast in your hotel, we’ll travel to Casablanca to tour the Hassan II Mosque, the second-largest mosque in the world after Mecca. Before continuing on to Marrakech, we’ll stop for lunch close to the Cornish Coast. Dinner and sleeping at the motel.

DAY 4: MARRAKECH SIGHTSEEING.

After breakfast at your accommodation, we’ll start touring Marrakech’s top attractions, like the Bahia Palace, also known as the Palace of the Beautiful and deserving of its nickname because it is a magnificent example of Eastern architecture with intricately carved panels. We’ll also visit the Majorelle Garden, which was a favorite of Yves Saint Laurent’s and is a must-see attraction in Marrakech. Visit Menera Gardens, which were built hundreds of years ago and are a beautiful representation of this metropolis. The biggest and most well-known mosque in Marrakech is the 12th-century Koutoubia Mosque. Jamaa El Fna, the city’s medina’s central plaza. Go back to the motel.

DAY 5: MARRAKECH - AIT BEN HADDOU – OUARZAZATE - DADES GORGES.

We’ll resume our tour to the desert after breakfast and travel through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi ntichka pass to Ouarzazate. (2260 meters). We’ll halt at a panoramic viewpoint for some amazing photos. Visit the renowned Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which served as the backdrop for many films, including Game of Thrones, Gladiator, and Lawrence of Arabia. Continue to Dades Gorges via Ouarzazate along the “Road of the Thousand Kasbahs” after lunch in Ait Ben Haddou hamlet. Spend the night in a hotel or riad in Dades Gorges after arriving in the evening.

DAY 6: DADES GORGES - TODRA GORGES - MERZOUGA.

We depart for the Todra Gorges after breakfast, where we will take a stroll underneath the 300-meter-high rocks. Then we will continue on to Merzouga, where a skilled camel man and his camels will be ready to transport us for about 30 minutes across the magnificent Merzouga dunes to the camp. Spend the evening outside with the residents.

DAY 7: FULL DAY TO EXPLORE MERZOUGA DESERT.

We will begin our day of exploration of the Merzouga desert by driving through the desert in a 4×4 car after breakfast in the camp and the camel trek back to Merzouga. Before going to the hamlet of people with dark skin who were formerly slaves from Sudan, we will have the chance to visit a nomadic family close to the Algerian-Moroccan border, listen to Gnaoua music, and experience their way of life. In the motel for the night.

DAY 8: MERZOUGA - ZIZ VALLEY - MIDELT - AZROU - IFRANE - FES.

Your final day of your eight-day schedule for Morocco will begin after breakfast with a journey through the Ziz Valley. We’ll come to a halt in a panoramic area. After eating lunch in Midelt, we’ll continue driving in hopes of spotting the Barbary apes that call Azrou’s cedar woodland home. Before continuing on to Fes and dropping you off at your hotel, we will make a halt in Ifrane, also known as the Switzerland of Morocco. The 8-day Morocco itinerary comes to an end.
