ESSAOUIRA DAY TRIP

After breakfast, your driver from Sahara Desert safari will pick you up from your hotel or riad at 8:30 am, and you’ll then begin your day trip from Marrakech to Essaouira. You’ll stop along the way to take pictures and admire the scenery, as well as a stop to see goats climbing argan trees, before arriving in Essaouira.

We will have time to explore this charming fishing community, which is situated inland from the ocean on a tiny rocky platform. Due to its excellent sand beach and trade winds, which make the area an ideal location for surfers, it is a very quiet town known as the Windy City, the Sleeping Beauty, or the Pearl of the Atlantic.

Essaouira has a unique personality that sets it apart from other medinas thanks to its small, peaceful medina with clean streets and pathways. We cannot miss the vibrant and lively sight of the boats returning to port with the gulls loitering between boats because fishing, handicrafts, and tourism are the major industries of the towns.

The Medina can be enjoyed by taking a leisurely walk to take in the charm of its winding streets, white walls, and blue-painted doors.

We’ll return to Marrakech in the late afternoon, transport you to your hotel, and then our day excursion to Essaouira from Marrakech will come to an end.
