Day Trip From Marrakech To Ait Ben Haddou is the longest day trip we offer from Marrakech; it takes approximately 3:30 hours to get there because you have to traverse the high atlas mountains that separate the two towns. (Marrakech and Ouarzazate).

During the Ait ben Haddou day trip, you will have the opportunity to explore the lovely high atlas, stopping along the way to take in the breathtaking views of these mountains and the genuine Berber villages. Day Trip From Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou

At 8:30 a.m., your driver will pick you up from your hotel or riad to begin your day journey from Marrakech to Ait ben Haddoud via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. (2260 m).

Continue to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou (fortified village), the famous Kasbah that was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986. Countless movies, including Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, and Sahara with Penélope Cruz, were filmed here, and you can enjoy stunning views of the Atlas mountains and authentic small Berber villages along the way.

Free time to go to a restaurant for lunch.

Our Marrakech excursion continues to Ouarzazate where we will visit the Taourirt Kasbah, another important historical site, and the Oscar Atlas Film Studio, the largest film studio in Morocco.
